A fanlisting (FL) is a non-profit, non-commercial online listing of all fans of a certain subject, mostly for entertainment purposes. In this case, this site is an FL for the title character of the Ocean's 11, 12, and 13 movie series, Danny Ocean.

Why bother with a fanlisting? For website owners, a fanlisting serves the same function as any other listing -- more exposure for your site, since it gives you more backlinks, possibly improving your pagerank. For non-website owners, it's a fun way to immortalize your interests online. :) In other words, it's an innovative way to let everyone know that you like a particular subject or person; it's like a proclamation badge of your interests.

While I find nothing admirable about the thievery big-time casino heists that Mr. Ocean pulls off, the near-impossibility of the scheme and the execution of the plan to the minutest detail sure are, at the very least, kickass. And Danny does not even break a sweat when he begins to plan and finishes the job. I love his cool, collected demeanor and his command of his team: they all respect him for his vision. His acts are far from laudable, and as far as I'm concerned, he is a criminal who got away with his deeds (so I suppose that the movies do NOT have any moral worth living up to), but as a fictional character, he sure is unforgettable. Besides, George Clooney (the actor who played Danny in the recent remakes) just oozes charm and sex appeal -- who could resist him? ;)

This FL was adopted from the incredibly prolific Becky!♥ Kim was the owner before her.
